Basically, she was stealing. There was obviously lots of tracing of screenshots in her character poses, but moreso then that a lot of her backgrounds were not public domain but copyrighted work.
Not only did she not reference these facts, but she insisted that she was not in fact taking the art from other sources, or even tracing, even when people began presenting proof.
A group of avatars on a site called plus4chan (which is anti-zutarian and pro troll to boot) began reporting her in masse. Technically legal, as they were reporting an actual violation. Just in huge numbers.
Whole sections of her comic began to dissapparer as the pictures were removed. Eventually, she was banned outright.
I'm on plus4chan, I can even link you to there thread on it. Though if you liked her work (or zutara) the link and the avatar section of the site itself will probably make you mad. Also, there's lots of porn there. avatar and otherwise. but a cool mp3 upload section!

I do feel a little sorry for her, but her perma-ban should be acceptable (though others beg the differ). She might get sued for this, and not just from Viacom. And yes, if you can I would like to read up on the article about her getting banned. I only recently found her comic last week, and now its gone and forcing me to painstaking search each page one by one. Thanks again man, appreciate it.
I'd say it upsets you, because, well... here's a summary.
